Why rushing loses money

FOMO is the most expensive feeling in the trenches.

The chart that is already green. You see a coin up 300%. It feels like it will keep going and you are missing it. That feeling is FOMO, and it is what every pump needs to find its last buyers.

You buy the top. Rushing in means buying when attention peaks. Attention peaks right before it fades. The person selling to you knows this.

Slippage punishes rushing. Big hurried buys on a moving coin fail on slippage or fill far from the quote. You pay more and still get a bad entry.

The 60-second rule. If you feel the rush, wait sixty seconds and read the coin page: age, liquidity, flags, buys/sells. Most of the time the rush passes and the coin is still there, or it is not and you saved your SOL.

Track the feeling. Tag your emotion on every buy. Compare Calm vs FOMO on your strategy page. Most people lose on FOMO and win on Calm. See it in your own numbers.
