Late to the meta

How to tell the theme is already over.

Everyone is already here. A theme feels safe when it is everywhere. That is usually the tell: by the time it is obvious, the early money is leaving.

Count the copies. Search the theme. One or two coins: early. Ten: peak. Dozens with the same name plus a number: late.

Volume says when it ends. Attention is finite. When the leading coins stop making new highs while copies keep launching, the crowd is leaving.

Late is a skip, not a smaller buy. Buying less of a dying theme still loses. The move is done. The next theme is coming.

The 30-second check. How many copies with this theme?. Are the leaders making new highs?. Ticker with a number or 2.0 on it?. Would you buy the same chart without the theme?

Quick check.

One more.

Early, or just loud? A practice coin from a theme you have seen all day. Buy, skip, or sell in time.

Copy number is the fastest tell: a ticker with a number stuck on the end, or the word 'real' or '2.0', means the clean names were taken hours ago. Volume on the leaders is the slower, more reliable one. When both agree, the theme is over for new money.
